Just sharing for general knowledge. The #3.5 bismuth from rotometals is some nice looking shot. It appears almost round (much more round than the #4s I got from rotometal in the spring). Ranges from .133-.137 and a 20 pellet avg weight yielded 3.2 grains per pellet which equals 136/oz almost the same count as #4 lead.

so far , the Roto shot has been pretty good . I really don't need to mess with the stuff other than for SoDak . Have gotten several sizes . 1 , 4, 6, 7 ,& 8 . A peculiar thing is the 8's weigh the same as my West Coast lead . Same vol . No Bizz looks perfectly round , so far this stuff patterns fairly nicely . great co to deal with . I've talked to Keith about a couple things , and they ALWAYS make things right . They will probably have a turkey day sale and an X-mas one , so stay tuned if you need to find some . |
