I have used the 1.125 #6 GP's and the 1.125 #6 @ 1300fps black shot loads and found no benefit by using the GP version of this load. they both work very well. The cost for the NP shot does not improve the performance so why pay it |

Just got back from ND. Shot the 1 1/8 nickel plated GP on the pheasants. Crossing birds crumpled well, straight going away seemed to take a good hit but we still had cripples. Not blaming the shells think operator error played into it a lot. Tended to be hitting the birds to far back. Did enjoy not ducking around and crawling through brush. |
