Fairly new to sxs, older guns, and 16 gauges. I normally use RST but any thoughts on these for older guns. https://www.aerostaroutdoors.com/product/f2-classic-16-gauge/

I have used them and like them. They are effective on wild quail and pheasant over points.

I believe the are rated 9867 PSI, which is a little higher than many want.

They are fast and will beat you up if you use them in a light gun on a Clay’s course

The shot is decent quality, the several I pulled apart had good size consistentency, and it was hard, not the hardest, but decent.

Great marketing / tag line.....

Laughing "to satisfy the demands of hunters who still possess 16 gauge guns." Laughing

At a rated 1312 fps, they sound stouter than I'd want to run in my Elsie, but then you aren't specifying what gun you have or just how old. Its cracking your stock that you mainly need to worry about. What gun do you want to use them in?

I use them in an Old Parker, circa 1919,
Work well on birds, I use them in my other 16's as well.
