Anyone have a unique contraption they use to re condition fired shells? Mine are roll crimped...if that makes a difference.

Nothing expect the MEC SuperSizer.

I have used the old heated machines by Texan and MEC
but they were made for WAXED paper hulls and these hulls
are no longer made

The only gadget I use beyond a Sizemaster or Supersizer is the a cut off tip off a plastic funnel, a couple twists or wiggles helps reshape stubborn hull mouths.

Glad you like Bill, forgot to mention...bonus points; the body of the shortened funnel works well as a canning funnel.

One thing I've noticed about fired roll crimped paper hulls is that the mouth of the hull looks like it did when it was unfired in contrast to a disfigured plastic hull's mouth after firing. Of course the plastic hull can be reused more times than the paper hull but it takes more work to get it done. Gil
