Anyone ever try this load from Ballistic Products?
Load 160928-9020
HULL: Cheddite 16ga. 2.75” hulls
PRIMER: CH209
PROPELLANT: Alliant Steel 23.0 Grains
WAD: PT1680
SHOT: 1 1/8 oz. 492 gr. BISMUTH #4/#6/#7
FOLD CRIMP: OS16 over the shot
Result: PSI 7900 FPS 1150 |

I’d be skeptical of the pressure being that low. I tested 1 oz hw13(more dense than bismuth) with 24gr and got pressure in the 8k range. I posted the test data here if you do a search. Also no need for a steel wad with bismuth as it will only drive up pressures. |

may need that VP80 ,will need a wad that accommodates 11/4 lead volume with that much bizz . |
