I have a Jstevens .."Springfield" 16ga single shot.
Tenite stock.. 30 inch full choke.
Bought it at a small gun show in Stover mo, many many years ago.
She's extremely accurate, light and fun to shoot.
I think it sat in someone's closet for many years. Had paint drippings on it..
Cleaned it up.
Action is really tight.i just shot a ground hog with the old girl yesterday..😁 |

I shot my first ever pheasants with my grandpa's Stevens 94 16ga back in 1985 and have enjoyed 16ga guns ever since even though I didn't get another one until 1991 when I bought my Rem M11 and the single shot was passed on to my cousin who still has it.
Lately i have become more of a sxs man and just picked up another LC Smith 16, this time an Ideal model from 1924. Means loading more 21/2" shells. |
