Hi all, my son is looking for a 16ga in very good to excellent condition.

Boxlock or sidelock, ejectors (no extractors), DT and straight or PG stock, no beavertail forend however. Tighter chokes.

He's looking to spend 1k to 1.2k

Let me know if you have one for sale or know of one.

Thanks so much!

Greg

I sincerely wish you luck in your search. Ejector double guns are difficult to find in that price range. All the other criteria are entirely reasonable for $1000-1200. Here are some nice deals, that I'm surprised haven't all sold:

I lucked out and bought an Ugartechea boxlock for $1200 with ejectors, but that was 5-6 years ago. If you can find one in 16ga, I'd highly recommend that as an option. They are no longer in production though.

This BRNO is listed as an ejector gun:

You might be able to find a Dickinson Estate 16 ga that meets all your criteria at close to that price. They are pretty nice shotguns, especially at their price.

My 16 ga Dickinson Estate special ordered with POW stock, single trigger and semi-beavertail forend. Not the configuration you are looking for, but gives you an idea of the quality.

I like the Dickinson as well There are a few vendors on GB the standard Estate with double trigs should fill the bill.

Thanks guys. I did have a Dickinson 16 and 28, just couldn't shoot them worth a damn. Jim couldn't either. So, down the road they went. I do agree they are a very good gun for the $$, just not for us.

Thanks again!

Greg
