you might want to look at one of these shirts with recoil pad in the shirt

The shirts I showed a link to do not have recoil patches sewn in. They have a pocket sewn in that you slide in a recoil pad that is much more absorbent of recoil than most shirt or vest pads. I understand about the shrinking shirt thing though. I have put my nose to the grindstone and dropped a bunch of weight and now many of my shirts are too big. After years of fighting the shrinking clothes issue this is a good problem to have for a change.

I really love my sweet 16. So far it has been 100% reliable with everything from 1185 fps rounds and 1300 fps 1 and 1/8th ounce loads. It even goes through my reloads with no issues. It points naturally for me, and due to its light weight, it's really easy to carry.

The only con is that after a few boxes of 1300 fps 1 and 1/8th ounce loads, my shoulder really needs a break. But I guess that's the price you pay with a light gun.

Shot my Sweet 16 A5 at a round of skeet yesterday. It was only the second time i'd shot it other than developing some 1 oz. loads. very comfortable to shoot. worked great think I'm gonna like this gun a lot for birds.

It's really something how little these kick for their weight. I can shoot 1 oz loads in total comfort at the range with this 5 3/4 lb. thing. I shot one round of skeet with the Herter's 1 1/8 oz loads because they were all we had left one day and they started to get to me, but in the field the 1 1/8 oz loads are just fine.
