Pronghorn, I too noticed a difference in the engraving on models that came shortly later. The patterns are generally less envolved, and while the overall patterns look basically the same, there are fewer detailed cuts in many I examined, seemingly starting sometime in the 50’s. Another cost cutting measure I imagine, but very well made guns just the same. |
