He left something in the garage for me. When I got home my wife said that there was a package for me, she had asked my daughter to bring it in, but she didn't.

I went out and saw that some ammo I had bought on gunbroker had arrived, no wonder my girl didn't bring it in, it was two packages containing 32 boxes of shells. A variety pack so to speak, different brands, but all 1 1/8 oz of #6 (except 2 of #4, and one 1oz #6). Looks like he was clearing out some shelf space.

Anyway, here is the haul: 16 boxes of Federal, 6 Rem Exp. Long Range, 1 oddball box of basic Rem game loads, 3 Win. Upland Heavy Field Loads, 2 Win Super X, 2 Western Super X.

As for price, most of these are in the $11 - 12 a box range even mail ordered, which is about the only way for me to get any selection without driving at least 75 miles to get to a decent shop.

For the 32 boxes of ammo it worked out to $6.40 a box shipping included, not too ba, just a little over half price. However, for those of you that were keeping score above you may have noticed I only listed 30 boxes. The other two boxes made the deal even if they were #4, because... Drumroll please!!!!! The other two boxes were 25 round boxes of Bismuth!! SCORE!!! $6.40 a box!!! Man I wish he would have had a few more in the pile.

Sounds great; however, you really should store them in the dry southwest...I would be happy to take care if them for you. Rolling Eyes
