Browning Citori over/under. Serial number 195XXPR123, mfg Japan, the first year offered in 16 gauge. Excellent condition with only a few minor handling marks. Very nice, very clean. 28" vent rib barrels ring true and have nice shiny bores. Two aftermarket Invector chokes included (and originals if I can find them--I hate moving). High gloss walnut stock with nice figure not often seen on a field grade gun. Hard butt plate, 2 3/4" chambers, ejectors. Steel front bead. Gold single selective trigger. Lightning stock style. Sharp checkering. Long tang (1987-1990 only), round knob, a great gauge. Not often seen, especially first-year production.

Medically retired Marine pilot, back in school, bills are stacking up...hate to sell.

Asking $1600 - let me know if I'm way off.

Pictures are on GunsInternational (mods let me know if I can post the link)

Best,
Dave

Nice Citori 16. I'd add picture of the long trigger-guard tang. That's one thing that separates these older guns from the newer runs. It's a touch of class that too many makers are leaving out to cut costs.

Will do.

Am I way off on the price?

I hate being poor again, lol, I just sold a 1972 Browning BSS 20ga, with luggage case and the literature. Oh well, I'll make it up on the backside I guess, just have to get through dental school. Rolling Eyes

Yes, hang in there. I put myself through a masters degree program beginning at age 40. My guns were less expensive in that period, but it was worth it.

I'd highlight the nice wood and the long tang and hold to your price. I'd buy it over a new one.

I accidentally used an outdated payment method and had to update it this morning.

I also fixed the typo on the chokes, Invector not Invector +, and added some pictures. I received 1 offer from a gentleman, but we were very far apart so I respectfully declined.
