Skeettx,
Those orange clay targets stand out real good against a snow background!
Enjoy! |

Just got back from 2 weeks on the tip of the Mn. Arrowhead. Had 13" of snow when first got to cabin. So went to a lodge a mile up the road to eat instead of cook. This guy was outside the window.
It slowly melted last week, still patches here and there. 20 miles to either side didn't have any snow go figure. After paying lodge prices one time grilled and cooked most of the rest of the time. Carry one of my Webers with me everywhere I go.
Wet year and wet time, and grouse numbers are way down. But enough to keep the dog happy.
A5 Sweet 16 with Briley modified 23" bbl. and Mark Larson modified grip worked well. CZ Sharptail 16 ga. took a few but always with second shot and modified bbl. Need to check the POI on it soon.
Water was deep in many crossings, did I mention it was a wet year? After doing one crossing where the water ended up being an inch from the window on the Polaris Northstar I ended up sending the dog in to check for water depth. If he had to swim I passed on the crossing and used reverse instead.
Yard work today and this weekend. Snow forecasted here on Monday. Dreading winter and the snow already I heard that happens when you get older...
I'm scratching Texas off my winter list now LOL. |

Looks the way Maine should look. We still have live tomato plants in the yard; predicted high in the 50s today. |

Mike, every S&W 29 i ever ran into was a .44Mag, sure that wasn't a 27-2?

We sold the house in Minnesota and went fulltiming in our Rv. Lived in the Duluth Area for 30 years. I used to know highway 61 by the trees. Don't miss the snow. Will miss the Castle Danger cream Ale. We spent Oct 17-20 at Lake Meredith Texas just North of Amarillo. We left before the snow. We Are now in Tennessee. just shot a Sporting Clays course in Crossville and had a blast. I travel with a pair of Citori's and a MEC 650, in 16ga. |
