It's too bad that RST is the only commercial option. It really is a niche market. That's why I load my own. Much cheaper and just as effective.

For a couple boxes of bismuth a year, a Lee Load-All and a roll crimper would allow one to make his own shorty bismuth loads on the cheap. Another option would be a scale, pre-primed hulls and a roll crimper. Something to consider if you don't like that $65 box price.

Thanks guys, I'll look into that. I shoot 2-3/4" shells almost exclusively, so I may elect just to shudder and pay the high costs of the occasional box of Bismuth for this thing. Incidentally, I did hear back from Polywad and they do NOT make a non-tox shell for the 2.5" 16 gauge.
