Now that the Ithaca web site is belly up, where can I check a serial number?
Thanks for your help, as always. |

If you're talking double barrel, I have a source for that info. Model 37 . . . can't help you. |

Larry, thanks, but I was looking for info on the 37.
Terry, I checked that link (hard to use site!) but didn't see anything there on the 37.
Wish I had printed the serial number page off the Ithaca site while it was up and running. Did anybody else do that, or know of any other sources?
Thanks,
Brian |

No problem this is way we all come here. Your 37 is from 1968. I remember that year real well cause all my hunting was with an M-14!

Your gun is from 1957. This info is per Walt Snyder's great book"ITHACA Featherlight Repeaters...The Best gun Going"

Thanks a lot, Billy. That's close to what I figured.
JB--There used to be, but the Ithaca site closed down when the business went under, and I can't find any other online source. If you do, please share. |

You can go over to gunshop.com and hit "other useful info" and you'll have all kinds of DOM's for the better SxS's

Billy-
Thanks for the year, it's my high school grad year, pretty cool! I think since I'm now a Model 37 and 16 gauge convert I'll pick up Walt Snyders book, it's on a web site under his name. Thanks again.

CB,
I have a 16ga Ithaca SxS, Serial #348857, picture of a Setter pointing on both side plates. Any information that you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same gun only my ser# starts with 235 and it was made in 1912. On the water table it should give you two no. 1 2 3 4 on each side this would be the chokes
This gun is great to take into the field i like it so much i hardley use my 525 Browning |
