Somewhere around here have a picture of me holding it with the Christmas tree in the background. Crosman M1 Carbine BB gun back in the 60's.

Been hanging around here for a long time absorbing wisdom and load recipes but this is my first post. - can not resist.
I received one of those at Christmas loooong ago. Boy I loved that one.
Many years later on returning from living overseas I went looking for it and discovered my sister sold it at a yard sale while I was gone - I still miss it

Never really received one per se - was allowed to use mom's M37 win somewhere around 8 or so . Didn't get into much trouble with that , so was able to graduate to the 97 not long after . (1st gun buy was a nearly new M1912 - no one knew much about short chambers - 39 bucks at Naum Bros. Newish guns for 30 some bucks - what a neat concept!!)

That funny Dave. I can still remember the jingle "With Johnny Eagle you can't miss you've never seen a gun like this" I got my grandfathers Remington 241 Speedmaster at 10 years old although he kept it at camp till I was like 14. Still have it.

My Dad bought a 241 brand, spanking new right after the war. My Dad had lots of jobs during the war, and the money to buy a nice .22 rifle when it was all over. He joined the Marines about a year later, and the gun mostly sat.

It came to me in 2012, and became my son’s shortly after that.

Great gun, not the standard for accuracy with the take down feature, but, a great gun, all the same.

Best,
Ted

When I was 17, my Dad replaced the Stevens bolt 20 ga. that broke with a Remington 870 Wingmaster in 12 ga.

Shotgun now has no bluing on the feed tube or rails. Hold it upright and depress the slide release.....drops with no resistance. Must have a half train box car load of rounds through it. Shot trap, skeet, and sporting with it. Modified choke made it trying for most games. But it was deadly on game with all of my practice. Still have it.

Hoping to give it a little brother from Browning in a Citori Gran Lightning in 16 ga.

Do any of you guys order shells from overseas for 16 in 2 1/2 in.? Was thinking of trying that route with Eley or Kent/Gamebore.

Not an issue,

the DEBUG Message error is WRONG, do not post again,

but if you do, go to the last post and edit and delete this post and submit.

You can do this immediately but not after someone has posted behind you

Mike

Thanks skeettex, Had no idea it would do that and no idea how to fix.

So........What did you do and where were you at , soldier?

A11150, or Defensive Aerial Gunner on B-52H models out of K.I. Sawyer AFB in Michigan. Many other jobs after that in my 9 years active in the service. Also ended-up at Mountain Home AFB in Idaho. Best trout, sharptail, quail, foolhens grouse, and pheasant that I have ever had for being a city boy.

Left as an E-4. Hope that you encouraged many as I know many light cols. did. You guys were the backbone of the force. I got my last incentive flight with a LtCol. Tried to make me sick. No go with my times in 52s.

Lt. Col. Phill Barrios, 391 FS, VN vet F-111A Bad-ass.

How do these compare with Eley or Gamebore? Am I getting an equal shell or are they better?
