Thanks for the comments and we are looking forward to his arrival. We have never used a dog transport before, but the lady is going to make a dedicated run to central Iowa, northern Illinois and then Michigan with three of the pups from this litter. My son had 1st pick of the females and I had 1st male. There were 13 pups in the litter, 8 females and 5 males and the breeder kept 2 females.

Good Hunting,
Mike

Thanks and I almost went with a tri-color belton but this fellow had a better head. How is your little feller doing. He probably is not so small any more.

Good Hunting,
Mike

Thanks for the comments. Looking forward to his arrival and not so much the first few nights of crying for littermates.

Good Hunting,
Mike

Nice looking pup. Pretty calm looking, it will be interesting to hear how it settles in once you get it home. My latest GSP was 3 1/2 months old when I got him and I thought I would appreciate not dealing with all the puppy issues, but I find I really missed the puppy stages and I don't think he bonded as well as my other GSP's. He's off at Ronnie Smith Kennels going through their 3 month advanced training class while I've been sheltering in place. It will be interesting to see if he is as glad to see me as my other dogs were when July rolls around. Maybe he's just a different personality than my other dogs, time will tell.
