Is there anyone on this board that loads 16 gauge Black Powder.
Not really interested in the brass hulls. Someone has to load these in paper or plastic hulls. If so, please tell me how you're doing it or share your load data. Thanks, Dave Miles asphaltdave@comcast.net

I know how to load it and use it. I load B.P. for my 10 and 12 gauges.
I'm looking for some specific load information for 16 gauges.
I don't think you can do, what I'm trying to do, with todays plastic wads.
I'm probably going to have to go with the old style O.P. and O.S. wads.
But, thank for the heads up anyways. Wink

Ballistic products makes a "short" wad for 12 ga, which I use in 2 /2" shells. I wonder if anyone makes a shorty 16ga; it might be what you need. Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

Hi Dave:

I haven't done any black powder reloading nor do i have any recipes.

Precision Reloading sells some "Gas Seal Wads" in both cushioned and uncushioned form. Scroll down to the bottom of the link. I have a package of the uncushioned (TUWGS16) version in 16 gauge. I would be happy to mail you 50 or so of them gratis. http://www.precisionreloading.com/shotshell_wads.htm#GAS SEAL WADS

Here is a cup for steel shot you might use on top of the Obdurator wad.(ballistic products)

Best,

Mike
