As I was departing the clays course yesterday, I received an email from Aerostar Outdoors that they were closing. Aerostar was the US distributor for B&P in the US. In my view, the B&P F2 Classic is the best 16 gauge shell available. Beautiful patterns, mild recoil and hammers clays at a distance. B&P was purchased by Fiocchi, also excellent shells, so hopefully the distribution channels will be back in place before too long. It’s very difficult to find 16 gauge shells for clays right now and impossible below $11 per box shipped. |

A 16 ga MEC Sizemaster will solve a lot of ammo shortage issues😀 |

I received the same email a few days ago. I had purchased a case of the F2 classics in #5 shot for pheasant hunting about 5 weeks back and shot them on the pheasant opener here in Idaho. First time I had ever shot the B&P shells and was pleased with the results. I was also pleased with how quickly I received the shells. Ditto on hoping they get the distribution channels ironed out.
I do have a MEC reloader for 16 gauge, an old pacific reloader for 12 and a PW 375 set up for 12 gauge, but after a call to PW, 9 miles up the road, I'll drop it off in the next few weeks and have it set up for loading both 2 3/4 and 2 1/2 inch shells. |

As a dedicated 16 gauger your instincts should dictate whenever you find good ammo or components, buy, buy, buy! So often it's here today, gone tomorrow.
My fingers are crossed that the excellent B&P F2 16 gauge loads survive. |

Looks like their website is down "for maintenance". Guess I should have ordered when I had the chance... |
