A little ARMAF Belg in 16 gauge. It's a tiny little thing with full coverage oak leaves (nothing too fancy) and 28" barrels. POW grip, horn buttplate and extractors. I'll be refinishing the wood this coming year. Weighs in at 5.7 pounds with 2.75" chambers from the factory. I had the chokes opened to skt 1 and skt 2. Perfect for the grouse (missing for the most part this year) and woodcock thickets.

very nice gun. Did that little bird have a heart attack from looking at those barrels pointed at him? |

If you shoot it well, it sounds like the perfect grouse gun. |

Nice photo. Woodcock are fun to hunt, wish we had some out here. Yes it seems like they die of fright sometimes after a wayward shot. It’s worth a nighttime outing once in the springtime just to listen to their crazy antics in their peenting grounds. The merits of a lightweight gun with a big pattern in the grouse and woodcock thickets can hardly be overstated.

Thanks guys. I had 5 flushes the other day and never fired a shot. The multiflora rose and aspens were just too thick. I unfortunately hunt without a dog so it's all walked up birds with the SURPRISE-mount-shoot technique. My other doodle gun is an Ithaca M37 from the 50s that is just a hair over cylinder bore and sports an English stock. |

Caleb, nice gun and photo. Next purchase: Brittany, Setter, or GSP. One will change your life for the better in many ways. Gil |

Very nice gun and the Belgian 16’s are a bargain. I am still trying to figure out how you hunt birds while falling from the sky via parachute.
Good Hunting,
