That does look much better, although I'm surprised they didn't offer the straight grip as an option, especially since most of these are being used as upland guns. It's not like it would take much effort for them to just straighten the stock. Even so, well done Browning.  |

I am hearing from local dealers that the rounded stock was a limited production for shot show (even though it was cancelled). Has anyone else heard this? |

I can see by the number of positive posts that this is a popular stock option for the A5. I have to say I just don't like it. Compared to the linear, sharp, clean profile of the fore end the buttstock looks like it was from another gun. The flutes are poorly laid out and the top and bottom rounded toe and heel look out of place. There is absolutely no line to that stock. I agree that a straight grip with good lines would be much better.
