I have found going to a hot primer helps emmencely for very cold weather loads. I also suggest cutting back on grain when using a mag type primer.
However, the hotter longer flame seems to help.

Another tip is to keep swapping shells from your pockets to the gun every so often. I try to keep a few shells in my pants pockets or under my coat and replace the ones in the gun every half hour. This keeps the ones in the gun from getting too cold. This one is an old sour dough trick from Alaska and Miinnasota. Works too.

I have been loading 15.5gr of Internation Clays for some time now with 7/8's and 1 oz. loads and I like the load for skeet. Burns clean and I can shoot all day without recoil effects. However there is now published data on it yet unless the lpg has some by now.

If I am loading 16 for trap with 1 oz. or 1-18 I go to 800x. I has been a standby for years.

International Clays and Green Dot have almost identical burning rates. however, they meter a bit differently. If you use one, the other will work just as well. Be sure to check your data for charge weight and bushing size. then actually weight your powder drops to be sure the bushing is throwing enough. Most do not and you have to use a bit bigger one to get the right weight.
