Tried using the search function here but no luck. No 7/8 oz loads and not much 1oz on Hodgdon and of course nothing on Alliant. I assume the Claybuster wads are the only ones to use? Thanks

I had a number of 1 oz. loads for the CF, my favorites were with SR7625 and the WAA16 (CB0100-16) wads.

The other loads I liked used Winchester Super Field powder. Those are in the old Winchester manuals. I also used Universal for a short time. The Universal loads remain on Hodgdon's website.

The Lyman manuals have quite a few 16 gauge Winchester CF hull loads.

The spreadsheets have a bunch of 16 gauge Winchester CF loads too.

I used 1oz loads from the Winchester reloading booklet for 540, then switched to HS6 when I couldn't find 540 as they're supposed to be the same. Apparently they were or close enough. I used WAA16 wads and have read that the Claybuster wad is a direct replacement. I used other powders and wads when loading other hulls.

Yes HS6 &7 and universal are all Hodgdon lists for 1oz. I have a little HS6 but leary of their data . Used it for a 20 ga 1oz load that they list as 1220 fps-ish but its chronoed at 1350+ and harsh. Now I have 3 boxes of that to dissasemble Crying or Very sad

I have happily used Green Dot in 7/8 oz. loads with the CB pink wads and 800-X with the CB blue wads in my CF hulls. The Green Dot load is more of a reality for folks these days since 800-X has been discontinued. In lieu of 800-X, find a load that uses Win 572 (if possible). The spreadsheets may show one, i'll have to look.
