Have a 1940 Ithaca Model 37R 16 gauge. Has a solid rib. Serial numbers match and date to 1940. Prewar! 1940 was the first year for the 37R.

In 1941 the 37R's got there own block of serial numbers this is pre that. First year. Overall the gun is in nice shape. 28 inch barrel Full Choke. Has a older aftermarket recoil pad.
