L. C. SMITH – Field Grade, 16ga, 28", M/F, very rare s/n 905, original bluing, wood finish, and traces of case coloring, capped pistol grip with butt plate, double triggers, extractor, splinter forend, small ding in right barrel, rare and desirable gun.

14 1/4" x 1 1/2" x 2 3/8", 6 lbs., 10 oz.

That would be a 1918 gun and looks to be a Featherweight.
"rare and desirable gun."
Well-according to the new LC Smith book, 40,667 16g Field Grade guns were produced between 1913 and 1950.
