Call Dean Harris at Skeets Gun Shop in OK. This is why I’ve never used Orlen. Dean does spectacular work. |

I will second the recommendation on Dean Harris. He does all my work on guns. The number is 918-456-4749 |

I'd also recommend Phillips Gunsmithing.
He has fit barrels to receiver for me.
He has done action work on my Beretta 682 when I was getting light strike primer misfires.
He travels to the Grand doing repairs for trap shoot competitors having a good reputation there.
He's very reasonably priced (less than 1/2 of what Coles charge for barrel fitting)
He has a fast turnaround time. |

I'm surprised to hear this about Mike. I last used his services two years ago and from my home in Georgia to his shop in Amherst and back to me was 10 days. I had previously used him for opening up chokes on 3 other doubles. His specialty is barrel work and that seems to be his wheelhouse. I was always able to reach him to establish that he would be there when the gun arrived. Gil |

Another vote for Phillip Crenwelge. I first met him bit more than 20 years ago at the Mn. ATA Southern Zone shoot where he worked on my sons gun. At the time he was part of the P&P Gunsmithing team the other P being Patrick Gottberg, now Pat's Gun Repair.
Phillip stopped working on a K gun to talk to my son when he walked up to their workshop in a trailer they took to major shoots around the Country and treated him like an adult. And had his gun up and running again in less than an hour. He is a man of few words and can rebuild any gun in existence from stem to stern. Now that he has been in Texas for awhile have to wonder how those down there understand his strong Minnesota accent, even I have to listen closely to understand him.
Pat is still in Wells, Mn. and does fantastic work as well and used to do overflow work from the Remington custom shop before the Rem change. Been a few years since I've shot with Pat he used to be on the Mn. State Team he is a heck of a shot in addition to being another great gunsmith. |
