| The good : my cute little I.J. Excel , 16ga , 28" full - good shape ! ... The bad , my cute little Excel is NOT a Winnie 37 . Those in the know know what the hammer , action lever config is on both - way diff .... The Result : wifey wanted to check out our new deer blind . Got up there and she started in , I stalled out- checking a couple Pear trees just behind the stand . Was slightly aware of a small brush pile and don't you know , up goes my lady Grouse . WIDE OPEN !! Tried to cock that op lever 3 times , never did get the gun cocked and there goes the most EASY , WIDE open Grouse shot ever !! Winnie is going down next trip and the Iver will be the porch gun , period !! DANG |
