I've heard of it, but it seems to be MIA. The good news is that Powder Valley actually had American Select and Extra-Lite in stock today. Maybe Santa will bring some Herco and some Unique!! |

The powder supply should increase this winter due to high cost with very many dropping out of shooting. Probably be price drop to draw people back on board. Spring should tell more. But without huge price drops the sport will dwindle fast. Just looking what's behind what has happened. Hope the distributors and manufactures learned for the future. |

What are you loading the Herco in?
I have a bunch of it sitting on my shelf but never loaded any.
Picked it up at a gun show last year.
Can't pass up good powder! |

Purple16, it's a terrible powder, don't load it, send it to me and I'll properly dispose of it 20grn at a time...
When I could get it, looking forward to more someday, favorite Trap load & late season brush busting Upland hunting. This load, IMO, mimics the OEM RGL pretty much spot on...
RP SP 16 Plastic (RGL hull), Rem 209P (I sub W209), Herco20.0, Rem SP-16, 1 oz. lead, fold, 1253, 10,600, Lymans 5th |

we are in the middle of a large Trap/Skeet area here , and a lot of the guys are always on the prowl for powder . We usually watch Powder Valley , Mid South and Grafs . I have seen , in the last 6 weeks or so , GD ,BD Unique , 700X ,572 ,410 , many have been SCARCE . Everyone had 700X till this wk , only Grafs has 1#ers left . I personally got 700X and Unique . HERCO has never surfaced that I've seen . It just hasn't . 572 is maybe the most useful , easy to get 16ga powder , and EVERYONE has it ..... maybe Herco is on the truck with Large Rifle Primers - SOMEWHERE !! |
