Looking for a good 2 1/2" light (clay target) factory load to hold me over for my Elsie and Nitro Spl. until I get set up reloading my own. Have checked in to the Polywad site. Any other recommendations?

Thanks,
Marc

Lots of guys seem to really like RST http://www.rstshells.com 570-553-1651 and they'll mix and match a case order (which run about $85/case)

I've shot a lot of the RST shells and will say they are great. 7.5s for clays and 6s for the pheasants.
Nice people to talk/deal with too.

Well it looks like two to one RST over other brands, so for now I'll take the plunge. Thanks for all the input.

Tex,
I should have added that I've always shot the 1 oz loads. Don't know how the lighter ones are but I would be willing to bet that they are great too.

You know that the pressure in those 16 gauge classics is listed in the 9000 to 10000 lbs. range. That's the B&P shells.

oldhunter: You are correct that the B&P F2 Classic are quite hot
http://www.bandpusa.com/files/db_trio.pdf
The 1 oz RSTs however run 7,600 psi

I've got some questions on my latest Elsie, but as this is the 16 gauge forum, I'll post it out on the LC Smith forum.
