Does anyone know if these carteidges are still around. I picked up a few cases over 10 years ago, and haven't seen them since.
I've e-mailed the store that sold them to me originally, but haven't had the courtesy of a reply. |

Forgive my ignorance. I am assuming a base stamp is the base of the shell, by the primer. Mine says "Hull Cartridge" and the gauge. On the side of the shell is stamped Hull Cartridge, Game-2 1/2", and 1 1/8 oz. and 7 1/2.
On the box is the above information as well as a product # HSG12H-2 1/2"
They were made in Great Britain. And the box carries a warning about the safety of lead. I know, any birds I shot did succomb (I like that word- it means died) to being in close proximity with the lead.
Like I said, I brought a few cases years ago when on a 12 ga. fad, and have always liked their performance. If they are still around, I'd like to order some 16's. |
