<  16ga. Ammunition & Reloading  ~  Appropriate load for 16 GA 2-1/2 chambered Darne R10

Well I finally was able to buy a Darne, something Ive wanted forever.

But now Im faced with rolling my own 2-1/2 Shotshell loads.

Yes I know RST offers such loads, and Ive ordered some - but they seem to be on the light side.

Im setting up for roll crimping my own loads, but need suggestion as to what would be appropriate - Im thinking 1 ounce loads but not sure.

My R10 was made in the 1960s and its in very good shape - so I welcome suggestions.

If you will be roll crimping, as a rule any 2 3/4 6 pt fold crimp load will fit in a 2 1/2 roll crimped hull.
