Primer pressures vary by as mush as 32% as mentioned in Lyman Shotshell Handbook.
I'm looking for a comprehensive list of various pressures. Specifically for the Nobel 209 Sport 688. The Nobel primer is not mentioned in the recipes in neither Ballistic Products publications: "The 16-Gauge Manual" nor the "Advantages Manual",
Any help is greatly appreciated. |

The NS688 is almost identical to W209. Nobel Sport is licensed to manufacture and sell Winchester 209 primers in the European market. They can be used anywhere you see a recipe for W209.

Primers do not produce the same amount of chamber pressure with each different set of components.
There isn't a list that anyone can give you that tells you how much pressure a certain primer. They are all different.
NS688 primers can be safely substituted for Winchester 209 primers, but that doesn't mean that the ballistics will be the same. |
