It's a Toz 63 probably made in the 70s but hardly ever fired, the action was so tight it was a real struggle to fit the barrels and then open the action. Hence the price of $92.00 or £75.00 Shocked
Apart from a few light marks it looked brand new, I found the reason for the tight action obviously being an inexpensive gun the Russians hadn't spent much time on finishing. I used to work for Westley Richards so it didn't take long to make it pleasant to open and close without tearing a muscle in the process. The previous owner put an unnecessary but nice recoil pad on it too.
It may not be very pretty but at least it's a 16 gauge...
Very Happy

Baikal made guns for Remington, I happen to have a Remington Spartan Sporting by Baikal, it's a 20 gauge O/U with extractors and ported barrels, fiber optic front bead. Heavy as can be, I think around 7.25 lbs and with the worst clunkiest ugliest engraving on the receiver you've even seen and a terrible quality stock finish that has mostly flaked off, but it's well made, the action is tight and locks up solid, and it has been a very reliable gun.

I bought it for dog training, I wanted a 20 ga O/U I could drop on the ground in all conditions to correct a dog and not care about what happened to it if it landed in a pile of sand or dirt. It's been very solid and has never failed.

I'm on leverguns.com and post pictures all the time but here it's not so easy.

I have one of these as well. It is a Greener style lock with hammers. Mine is choked improved modified and full. Like yours mine was pretty tight, especially the hammers. At first I thought they were welded shut. lol But she works fine after a little oil and usage. I have used it mostly for shooting squirrels and 1 very big Cottonmouth Snake. It works very well for both tasks.
I have other double guns and enjoy them all. This one is a natural pointer and the sling makes it easy to carry afield... Bobby
