Does anyone know if Eric Meitzner is still working as a gunsmith in Solon Springs, Wisconsin?
I have called him repeatedly over the last several weeks and haven't been able to make a contact.
Thanks |

I believe he retired years ago. Don’t remember when. |

I had him build a 6BR on a 722 Remington action. The year was 2010, I think he retired a couple of years after that. By the way the rifle shot well, wish I still had it. |

I brought him a project in 2016, I believe…could have been the next year, but I think it was 2016…he did some amazing work for me. |

I work at the Mercantile in Solon Springs and we used to use Eric as our "go to" gunsmith. He retired about 3 years ago just before Covid hit. His last response to me was "I have cleaned my last 22 semi auto". We have not found another gunsmith in the area to replace him yet. Jeff |

Solon Springs!- Some of our offspring have recently become inhabitants thereof. Might there be good reason to schedule a visit there for the intended purpose of inspecting & enjoying grandchildren to coincide with the opening of WI grouse season?
TIA

Just a coincidence, of course. |
