Thanks everyone , went looking for turkey for 4 hours yesterday heard and seen nothing, took the air rifle long and came home with a mess of squirrel for a wonderful birthday dinner for Jeanne and myself.
Yep I took the 1/2 oz loads of #9's at higher than customary velocity but when one sees nothing loads doesn't make a difference, smiling.
61 was never so much fun as it is once I got there , I am having a ball goose hunting , early deer hunting and of course squirrel hunting.
Thanks all for the wishes , I am putting them to good use.
