You guys are both pessimistic, (and a bit daffy) at least about the fit of Gualandi and B & P wads in any of the current hulls. They fit and they work flawlessly and there is nothing marginal about it.

Smiling here!!

Yes it works. But not as we think of it. Remember believe some but question everything. Old 16

Hammer Bill,

You know, I have gotten into a lot of these types of conversations and about 99% of the time no one will admit that they should take another look into their statements so instead of taking pictures, pointing out the facts and wasting a lot of my time during hunting season, my response is.....

Flattened ball powder is approximately .012" thick (W572 and Longshot.). The I.D. of a RIO 16 gauge hull, which has the largest I.D. of any current hull I could find is .675". The O.D. of an SG16 wad is .667. The O.D. of an Z2M16 wad is .666.

How any current powder will migrate past either of these wads is a mystery to me, especially after 30 lbs. of wad pressure along with a properly applied crimp is added into the equation.

I promise not to respond to this thread again.
