Hi there,
Does any one know where I can get a reliable source of 16 ga shells in BC or Alberta?
Thanks

Yup...reload them. This is not meant to sound smartalecky, it is simply the truth for a lot of folks who love the sixteen. It is a hassle getting componants sometimes, but a good store of shot, powder, primers, and whatever wads you can buy or cobble up goes a long way in keeping you in fodder as well as free from a sometimes thin market for loads.
However, I do not know the Canadian laws covering reloading your own. Here in the US, it is about the only thing the politicos have not screwed with...but that too is just a matter of time I suppose. I hope you have as free a hand in the matter as most Americans do...for the moment anyway. good luck in your search. |

you can get 16 ga shells in Calgary at Russel Sports, or Wholesale Sports. Will Bilozir, at DeWinton, Ab is the dealer for Ballistic Products. he sells me all my 16ga reloading stuff and is a shooter himself. his business is on line at www.bilozir.net |

In the Vancouver area, Canadian Tire have Federal shells in 16 gauge. Italian Sporting Goods and Royal Sporting carry a good selection of shells and will order in just about anything that is available in 16 gauge.
