Greatly enjoying the 16 ga Citori for skeet. It’s a standard model. The Briley skeet chokes have made all the difference (thank you, member GF1), with outstanding patterns and just enough added weight at the muzzle to smooth out the swing.
Although aware that better is the enemy of good enough, I’m thinking a straighter target stock might be helpful. And rather than disfiguring the current stock, another Citori might be called for.
Question to the floor: Which Citori sporting/target models have been made in 16 ga?
TIA

| Browning 525 Sporting model. Hard to find & when you do they command top dollar. They are sweet though. I shoot a 32 in gun at sporting tournaments all the time. |

DUK,
What are the differences between the Field 525 & the Sporting?
There is a Field 525 on GI right now. Not interested myself (well, I am, but I’m over my quota for this year), but may be helpful for folks. |

I honestly don't know all the differences. I know 30 & 32 in barrels in Sporting. Stock is different too I'm pretty sure. sporting is definitely a heavier gun. |

| Not sure if you’d be willing to look outside a Citori, but the Rizzini Comp 16 is setup as a target gun with a flatter stock. |

Another great 16 Sporting gun. I had a 30 in gun, but sold it. Would buy a 32 in gun in a heart beat if I could find one. |

I have owned two of the Citori 525 Sporting Models, both with 30 in. barrels.
They have a palm swell on the pistol grip, adjustable trigger (3 positions) with two trigger shoes, ported barrels and 5 Extended Midas Grade choke tubes. Also comes with a solid rubber recoil pad putting the LOP at 14.75" and Grade II/III wood. |

| I currently have the 32" version of the 525 16 ga. Sporting model. In addition to the features mentioned above, they have the replaceable light pipe front bead system. The Sporting models were made on the 20 ga. size receiver but not sure about the field models. |
