Enjoy the 4th everyone.
A flag on the prairie. Never thought I'd ever be a part of this, even though I had planned it for years. Dreams do come true in this marvelous country. |

The 4th seems very meaningful today.
Celebrating in my now-normal subdued fashion, but celebrating none-the-less (I overdid it a little last night with a "Super Tuscan" vino and some excellent roasted duck).
This 2nd Trump Administration has been an amazing thing to watch for the last 6-months. So much going on in so-little time. It doesn't seem real at times, but most of the time it feels pretty good to this old conservative.
God Bless this Country. |

I am apolitical, but the site rules are no politics, so let’s not go there.
With all respect.

| I hope it’s not as hot in Ireland as it is here in the Chicago area. It’s been in the 90’s for awhile. I am either in my swimming pool or inside. |

| We had a few weeks in May that were really warm and dry but we are back to our usual summer weather here of rain , but not too bad still warm enough and nice long clear nights , glad you have a pool to get out of your heat , be good to get out after some birds , always enjoy your reports to us on here , take care and here's to a good shooting season ahead.
