I have the 2.5 ched 3/4oz Bp wad 20/28 loads from sheet but what about substituting the dr16 wad with same load instead of the felt wad filler in shot cup?
Anyone tried or tested? |

| Not seeing a 3/4 20-28 load in my lists. Can you post the recipe? |

Jta5er,
Considering the loads you just posted with a maximum chamber pressure of 5,933, you could substitute any wad and be just fine. Use the DR16 in any of those loads with confidence.
I would definitely be sure that on a cold day the load fires properly, but since you are in Kentucky that probably won't be an issue. |

| How would these loads work with 7/8 ounces of shot? Thanks in advance. |

| Thanks for your input. I have been using this one -Cheddite 2.50 0.75 20/28 17 Ched 209 SG 16 1198 5700 1/4" 28ga felt wad in shotcup - with nickel 8s in my Damascus dove guns with great success. Same load fit in 2.75 paper ched hull and performed the same. I have not tried in below freezing temps yet but will soon. Hopefully this weekend. The data is not mine and can only say safe in my guns don’t know about yours. |
