Where’s best place to have a Rem 870 barrel cut, and a choke tube installed?

I tried to post his flyer, but the antiquated software this forum runs on doesn't allow attachments. We have to use a 3rd party image processor and by the time it goes through that and is posted as a picture, once you enlarge it, it is unreadable

I pm'ed you his contact information

I second Briley. I have Briley Thin Walls in my 16 ga. 1100. Many thousands of rounds since they were installed in 1998, with no issues. POI is perfect.

MSM, did you send just the barrel, or the whole gun?

The only issue with Briley is cost. They are amongst the best though.

Yes, Briley is expensive. I won’t spend that amount on an old 870.

Cost? My quote from Briley last fall for choke tube corrected for POI error was only $126.

That wasn't for threading and such. The below from Briley's site that the OP needs done. Per his original post, he needs the barrel cut and tubes installed.

Mike Orlen is much more cost effective for an 870.

Quote:

Threading ONLY with NO CHOKES
$175 Per Hole

Quote:
Choke Installation ONE BARREL with your choice of 3 screw in chokes
Flush Lead / Bismuth $299
Extended Lead / Bismuth $389
Flush Steel Shot / Tungsten / All Shot $329
Extended Steel Shot / Tungsten / All Shot $419

I've had no issues with Colonial installing tubes in several of my shotguns. It helps if you have the ability to measure wall thickness at the muzzle for them to determine if install is even possible so not to waste time and shipping costs. Mr. Orlen posts these Go/No-Go dimensions on his ad page 16ga Min OD .75" & Max ID .668".

Scroll down to post#4, albeit the prices are from 2018...
