How does RST and Gamebore 1oz ,1200 FPS ammo compare in terms of performance?

Are there other options ? I can use 2 3/4" shells.

I’ve been happy with both, no distinguishable difference. They’re great for just about everything where lead shot is permitted. Our club has a half pallet of 1 oz 1300 fps Rio, very high quality and affordable, but simply brutal when used in lightweight field guns on clay targets. Brutal.

Is Gamebore 16ga ammo low pressure ?

If so, where can I find that info.

I have a few boxes of the old tan box Gamebores in #7 I’ve been working through the past few bird seasons with my classic 16 doubles, but I bought them many years ago. Low pressure, and they definitely kill grouse & woodcock.

I did not see where they give pressure numbers.

No, but the 2-1/2" 16 gauge loads are advertised as low recoil, and generally speaking (but not always) low recoil usually equates to low pressure. Perhaps they would share the pressure info if it was requested.
