Just picked up a Fair Inside sxs 28" 36 gauge nice gun balance fit and finish fits me like a glove. Looked long and hard at Rizzini , Fausti . More than happy with the purchase . 16 gauge is up to bat next. Anyone else shooting a Fair ?

I shoot a 28" 16ga Iside along with a 16ga Sweet and a Ugatecha 16ga SxS. I'm deadly with the last two but of late not as consistent with the Iside. Specifically, with the second shot (modified) i'm missing 50% of the time (?) Can't understand this. Can a choke tube be defective ?
Overall, fit & finish of the gun is nice. Balances nice & you can carry it afield without any weight issues.

Fair claim to have thier barrels well regulated and i like the long cone in the choke tubes 1/3 longer the Beretta mobile chokes. Pattern your gun but my guess is you may be lifting your face off of the stock on the second shot looking to see if you connected ?Try shooting your miss barrel first that should tell you if its the gun or you?

I have a 16 ga and a 20 ga.
Guns fit me well and shoot very well. Very light for upland hunting.
Wished the 16 was as light as the 20, but I carry the 16 way more often!
Customer service at Lion County and F.A.I.R is very good!

I have never held a 20 but the 16 I have feels pretty light to me. I’m not recoil sensitive, but light enough it’s not my preferred clays gun. I let a buddy shoot a round of 5 stand with it. He said one round was enough. Great hunting gun tho. Carries well.

You might want to pattern it for point of aim. Havent heard of any one having issues but i guess it can happen. My 30 inch 16ga weighs 6lbs 2 oz. My 20ga is 5lbs 10oz. Recoil doesnt bother me with either. I rarely shoot anything but Cyl/IC in either. I did send in the full choke that measured .32 to briley and had it opened to .13. Will be trying that for late season phez in second barrel

FAIR makes great guns I have a few, OK maybe more than a few LOL. Out of 5 of us that shoot SxS guns at Clays regularly we all have at least one Iside in 16. Most of us in multiple gauges but no 36 ga. good on you.

Don't know about Canada but when FAIR first came to the US before the turn of the last Century it was through New England Arms. I picked up a 16 ga. NEA 500 in 28" later added a 30" bbl. it didn't require fitting they were one of the first CNC made guns

Have three Isides in 16, hmm maybe more...

Basic 28"

Gold

And Custom ordered Iside Prestige Deluxe Tartaruga Gold

We all seem to shoot the Iside well and most of those that own them report the same

A better built side by side under $8k does not exist. A prettier one? Yes, absolutely but not better made.

I agree good product at that price point. The reproductions and the Japanese produced guns are nice and well buit but they don't feel right to me the Turkish guns are out for me at any price.
