What is the correct diameter of a 16 ga. chamber. My cousin has a gun that measures .750" by 2 9/16" long. His is using remington game loads and the brass keeps swelling. Are the chambers too big in diameter, or is the short length the problem. |

It doesn't matter if he lengthens the chambers or not.
If his chamber I.D. is .005" bigger than the brass on a 16 gauge shell. The brass is still going to swell untill it comes in contact with the chamber walls. |
