We had no winter this year (in Colorado) to speak of and now we have very little snowpack. That has a number of folks quite concerned here about water issues.
Normally, I fish here during the spring and summer to distract myself (as I await the coming Fall). This year that might be a bit challenging, but we'll see. We have had a nice and wet Spring here lately and the weather types are all worked up now about a warm Pacific (a "Super" El Niņo) giving us a much wetter summer, fall and winter this coming year.
Me personally, I find all of this weather stuff to be just so-much noise. Another example of "not letting a crisis go to waste" I fear.

I just use my old bamboo rods (& reels) to try to forget about all this silliness... |

I have fond memories of fishing in Colorado in 1970 when I was going to school at Lowry AFB. The officer class was from 0600 to 1200 and I could usually be at the trout by 1400. The stream I fished most was called StLouis Creek. Have no memory now of even where that was from Lowry.
I'm totally spoiled now having been married to a woman from Kodiak, AK, for coming up on fifty years this Labor Day. |

Gentlemen,
The weather here in Pa has been pretty normal, wet spring, however we did have a pretty lean snow year we will see what the water level of the creeks are, as we get into late summer. Looking forward to Grouse season this coming year also, hoping the woods will be nice and wet for great dog work.
all the best,
Pine Creek/Dave
