Well after this winter's test there are a few conclusions/delusions
1.No function problems-never replaced grease in the stock or removed.
2.Wood to metal fit lacks.
3.Needs a REAL choke wrench--so does my favorite--Browning.
4.Would be nice to have a better barrel selector----how many times did you use yours last year?????
5.Nice to have selective ejectors--with the option to "turn"them off.
6.Auto safety---Yeah it's a field gun
7.Need extended chokes---see #3
8.Shoots very flat--good for me ---not for trap shooters-this model anyway.
9.Recoil pad is better than most others.-Could have used the new Remmy.
10.For a entry level-$400-hard to beat ---if you see one and are in doubt, buy it as there are now discontinued. |

I have one of the EAA Baikals before Rmington took over. Haven't fired 5K thru it like Hoa but his test confirms what I had already concluded. The guns are not pretty but are solid. My SxS has fixed chokes so I don't need the wrench! |

Yeah I got one - I got it as a beater, and it's like swinging a club! Good gun for entry level or a beater. Reliable and solid, but surely not for the refined shooter. |

Hi guys, my 210 16ga was worked out great this year, for the $$ hard to beat - only problem is they are so damn heavy, 1/2lb lighter they would be much, much better. Overall, not bad for an entry level gun.
Have fun!!

I've got O/U EAA Baikal with around 2000 rounds of light loads through it and it's shooting fine. It is heavy, but I need a work out every now and then. |
