Here are a couple of pictures of an early short chambered 16 ga in the three shot version. They are great handling guns.
Sokme of you may have seen the hand made aluminum forend, it was shown on the Parker site. It was made by the father of one of the regulars on the Parker Gun bbs, Roger. Roger's father was a master machinist and when his wood one split he made his own replacement. The aluminum one worked fine but they never threw away the cracked original...
I recently finished restoring the original forend that the aluminum one was made to replace. The gun and both forends are back together in their display in Rogers office. See the pics.

It's nice to see a great family legacy gun and this kind of memorabelia around it.
