Yentzen
Great stuff - my own scene is currently on film (remember film?)
I have another coming - it's my sxs, my Dad's old canvas coat that my Mom bought 49 years ago for their anniversary (faded mismatched buttons, patched and sand in the pockets), the wooden Olt goose call he & I found one my second year of ducking at the blind I shot my first duck, the paper duck deekes we used until they became unseviceable and the plywood shadows that have seen better days but still bring birds in when I don't try to blow the aforementioned call - throw in some paper rem chilled #5's wrapped in paper and if I do my part, a duck and/or maybe a goose...stick it on whatever background the weather permits...
In good time though - I'm gonna work on catching stripers and getting tan feet for a few months - or days as the new england weather permits. |

By the way, great picture.

Yentzen, Is that original paint on the mallard ? I'm guessing all three birds are Masons. |

Yentzen,
Don't let your 12 ga's hear you. They might revolt if they think your only going to be hunting with the 16 next fall.......like that would be a bad thing?

Yes all my small collection Decoys are Mason Challenge Grade in original used paint. Decoys like Guns I only like if I know someone used them like they were made to use.

I keep geting some sort of error, have to get the boys to help me sort it out later. Anyways, how long did it take you to find that many Challenge grades? Very nice collection. I don't collect, but I've studied the old timers quite a bit because I carve. Always liked the shape of the Masons. |

I find one about every 3 or 4 years. A lot of stops in junk stores everywhere I go. |
