While I can't say I'm over the loss of my Misty I can say that my new setter Parker looks like he will be a fun companion in the field. We have done a little field work but the big test is Saturday working stocked quail and pheasant. What can be better than a young pup and a new 16 gauge Browning? The old stuff is great but there is always time to let the new stuff shine.

Hope everyone is enjoying this fall. Sure would be great here in PA if it would just stop raining for a day or two.

HD, you will get your weather wish. The weekend in PA is supposed to be nice. In Ma, it will clear out on Saturday, the earlier, the better I hope.
Anyway, there is something about a new pup or new shotgun that makes the world a better place. Good Luck with both, and give Parker a biscuit and a pat for me.

My dog before Misty was J.D. so you can tell I haven't had an original thought in years. Trojan may be next! By the way, the boy did great. He's going to be one fantastic grouse dog!

Sorry Parker Trojan, I'm sitting here petting Elsie the English Setter. She was my last years birthday present.
