Please forgive give the newbie question but does anyone know of a manufacturer who has produced a 16 ga. o/u or sxs in either a ladies or youth model which is currently available? I am not looking for a custom gun. Thanks B&C

Don't know of any produced in 16 ga other than Remington 870.

It's not all that unusual though to see used guns that have short stocks.

Good Luck.

Stoeger sells both their Uplander SxS and Condor O/U in ladies and youth models but I don't know if the 16 is available in ladies / youth. If the 16 is available and you want to install a full size stock at a later time one can be purchased from Stoeger for about $50. The cost of either of these guns new is not very much. I have an Uplander SxS I have used as for 10 years without any problems. Nutcase is right about lots of guns on the used rack and at gun showw with shortened stocks. Keep in mind that just shortening the stock is usually not enough to fit a smaller person. The drop has to be modified as well.

Actually, I have the youth model Stoeger (20 ga.) which fits me perfectly which is what prompted this post. B&C

Perhaps you should venture into the used market and take a serious look at a Marlin 90 in 16ga or 20ga I think you might be suprised at the price and the gun its self .
