I'm not sure if I've ever posted these here, but in SW16 discussion at another web site, Jeff M suggested I post these here.

I obtained this one last winter and I wasn't even looking for another SW16. I had one once a few years ago, but it was foolishly traded away and I replaced it with an old 16 gauge Rem 11 that has been my "po boy" SW16. I had a 12 gauge Merkel M8 that wasn't working out and asked the dealer if he had anything that I could trade it for. He started listing off other SxS's and mentioned he had a minty skeet-choked SW16. That got my attention and a trade was made!

This one is almost too nice to take hunting.

I patterned the gun at 25 yards with my normal pheasant load which is a Federal factory 1 1/8 oz of 6's. The gun does have .05" constriction with a long parallel section at the final 4 or 5 inches of the muzzle. I'm betting this pattern with hold together for another 10 yards or so. It had 190 of 253 pellets in 30" circle which is 75%.

Rev, she didn't mind, but my mother in law who was on a ladder in the garage (facing away) changing the light bulb wasn't very happy with me. Twisted Evil
